My teaching philosophy focuses on a learner-centered approach that promotes critical thinking, analytical reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. I incorporate Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into my curriculum to equip students with both academic knowledge and a sense of global citizenship. Using the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), I track learners’ progress from A1 to C2, preparing them for real-world challenges. I employ a variety of instructional methods, including technology-enhanced learning and interactive activities, to create dynamic and inclusive learning environments.
I am dedicated to teaching and academic advising, having consistently received positive feedback and high evaluations throughout my career. In addition, I have trained over 200 language instructors on how to integrate web-based language learning technologies into their teaching practices.
My research includes numerous peer-reviewed publications on topics such as declaratively accelerated blended learning, English Language Teaching (ELT), L2 proficiency, learning technologies, quantitative research methods, second language acquisition, semiotics, and web-delivered language learning platforms. Looking ahead, I am particularly focused on how AI, AR, VR, and MR can transform language learning within the Metaverse.

Testimonials
61 Spit Brook Rd., suite 104, Nashua, NH, USA
When universities license our platform technology, we are always pleased to see strong adoption and positive impact, but what you have done with Transparent Language Online is far beyond any reasonable expectation.
When you shared the results of your research with us, we were of course pleased with your conclusions, but even more, we were simply amazed at the scope and complexity of the effort.
The statistics are mostly beyond me, but the core assessment differentials are not. Given your conclusions, some may naturally wonder whether Transparent influenced you or played a role in the project, so I'd like folks to know that we did not. A prodigious effort; thank you and best wishes
